Birch Aquarium, La Jolla, California

The Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography is a beautiful aquarium at the University of California, San Diego.  It features more than 60 habitats of fishes and invertebrates from the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest to the tropical waters of Mexico.

Nice hands-on activities for children and a lovely setting.

Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum

The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum is devoted to Ancient Egypt, 

located in the Rose Garden neighborhood of San Jose, California. 

It was founded by the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis.

Recently we were fortunate to tour the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum.

Many fascinating artifacts.  It's the largest exhibit of ancient Egyptian antiquities

 in the western United States. 

Mid Autumn Festival - United Chinese Society

A celebration of the Mid Autumn Festival sponsored by the

United Chinese Society of Hawaii.

Lion Dance, Kung Fu, Chinese dancing and opera were

among the performances on Sunday, September 16, 2018.

Wet 'n' Wild
