What a tasty treat! Tea time at the Washington National Cathedral

The tour was wonderful despite the repair work going on.

Not only did we learn about the cathedral from a very witty docent,

but also we saw many elaborate details and enjoyed seeing the city

from one of tallest buildings in Washington, D. C.

Winter Snow

It's February 20th, President's Day, and we expected snow yesterday. Nothing!

So far the photos above show the most snow we have received this winter.

Year of the Dragon

It's that time of year -- Christmas will be upon us soon.

I love seeing the holiday decorations, lights, and trees.

Butterflies were everywhere... short stop on their

migration to South America.

What a lovely week we spent in Destin, Florida.

Fall - Herbs and Flowers

Check out some of the herbs and flowers growing in my garden.

Little bee likes the basil.

Lots of lemon balm.

A little parsley among the lemon balm.

Rosemary grows year round.

Orange mums in the front yard.

Yellow mums are so pretty.

Purple ones too.

White mums are pretty too.

Deer

The deer have been roaming our neighborhood, but these deer live at the

National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Notice the yellow tags. One deer is missing an antler.

I wonder what happened!
